We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. I tried to make the background blur the subject in this picture, with it's pastel tones and all. I kind of like it. Do you?

Craig, I didn't want the drop to overbear, I was just after a good-looking twig that provides a small in-focus element and complements the OOF texture. A day on I don't find the colours that appealing anymore, and the soft lines (that I didn't actually see in the viewfinder) seem more important. Maybe I try a b&w... Cheers Steffen.
