Well Rokkstar really. Taken at the Ferry Hop. While I tend not to do portraits, sometimes I like to do so for a bit of variety. Shot #2 was taken with Matt's 85/1.8. All other shots were taken with my new

Nikkor 28-70/2.8

....
And if you can't get enough - there's more Rokkstar

Like #1 the best here Peter. Use of split light and the backgound really add to the mood/feel of the shot. Matt the D200 looks good on you
cheers

Heeeeeey Rokkstar! Excellent work Peter, we are really going to miss Matt when he heads back to the UK, some great shots.
#1 is so damn cool, he makes cameras look trendy, almost like a weapon.

#1 is a winner - looks almost posed
The others are nice, casual candids. Cool!

I think these are great shots that work well as a series. Maybe you can find a picture of Matt in which he doesn't hold a camera, to round it off?
Cheers
Steffen.

Stubbsy,
#1 is a masterful bit of portraiture. These images aren't your normal caper, but you seem to have hit the spot with this image. Excellent.
#3 ... nice crumpler

That is one big poser if I do say so myself!
Great series of pics Peter, you had a very co-operative and not so camera shy the subject matter which really added to the images.
Matt should start charging people $$$
