I really like the poetry here - someone has put some time into this little rhyme, and hardly anyone ever sees it.

Intereting composition Matt. The lines formed by the gutter, the poem, roadway and the brick work simulate the flow of water when it comes while the lines at 90 degrees forming the grate offer an interruption to that flow figuritively and in reality when the water finally flows.
