Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Christmas eve 2005 - Paris
it was rainy and cold but the french spirit and 6500+Kelvin set on my camera gave me warm feelings of christmas in the most romantic city in the world
i shot these mainly with a 50mm f1.4 at ISO1600 hand held
just outside Saint Germain de Pres metro station
Les Deux Magots
Odeon, shot this one on a tripod lower iso a much smoother image
on the way to saint germain de pres from latin quarter

Great shots well executed...interestingly I think the same type of shots taken say in Sydney wouldn't have the same feel. The enviroment you've captured is special, I love the paved road, the iron railings and the buildings.
Roger.

love the first wendel.
very different from your usual fare.
I find that it is usually possible to identify your shots by their distintive style,
this one fooled me.
well done.

I love the perspective in #3 and the movement is perfect.
I'm not too sure on the WB setting though - I like warm shots but to me these are too yellow and not enough red/orange. That said, it does create a unique feel to them. Well done
If you've got any more, please post them too.
So join in the chorus, and sing it one and all!

Lovely warm tones in these images Wendell. #2 has a timeless feel to it. It almost looks like it could have been shot in the 30's (okay, maybe without the Smart car in the b/g ).
