Open Wheelers at Oran ParkBelow is a couple of shots from Oran Park taken last Sunday week. All were take with the 80-400VR. Any comments welcome.

Nice sharp shots, and great color.
The first is good with the next car entering the apex right behind him. The second is a good capture of "the moment" with the driver going "off" in the background The third one I'd be tempted to clone out the wheel of the other car coming in the background... Might need a slightly slower shutter too to get some wheel blur/rotation (says he who has never taken any shots of motor racing ![]() Aka Andrew

These shots where taken on one of the slow corners of the track, so action was not that high speed. I was also playing around with shutter speed to maximise dof. With the 80-400VR I find the trade-off between shutter speed and dof is very sensitive. I've taken shots where I have had the front of the car in focus and the back of the car is out of focus.
