Hmm, following the lack of response to part 1 I thought I would subject myself to further embarrasment and post a part 2.

Same competition.... end of the weekends activites. Would love some feedback :).

I missed part one, I'll have to go digging because these are fantastic :D

#1 - A very peaceful image with great light. I'd consider cropping out the leftmost silhouette, don't like the way he/she merges with the BG, but otherwise beautiful.

#2 - Beautiful light again (obviously you were busy during the golden hour :)). It could also use a closer crop, perhaps even a vertical pano above & below the boat?

#3 - Lovely shot, it's so full of atmosphere. Not sure about the black bar across the top though. I'm sure the SLSC would love this, great capture of teamwork in action.

#4 - Sharp & simple - would look great printed.

#5 - Nice work with the exposure to keep shadow details. Definitely another keeper :)

#6 - Weakest of the set (although given the beauty of the other shots, this isn't saying much). No real focal point in the image, but again it's a gorgeous scene captured at the perfect time of day.

Fantastic stuff, now I'm off to check out part one :)

What rooboy (Patrick) said & perhaps crop out the top (dark bar) of the 3rd shot. Cheers, Mick :)

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback. :D I'd have to say that numer 3 was my favourite. I went ballistic taking shots at this point because the light was only like this for 20 seconds or so.

Rooboy that's just the kind of feedback I was looking for. I'll make a few adjustments on see what I can come up with :).

G'day,

#1, Terrific mood and lighting, great image... Very moody and serene...

#2, Tempted to crop the BL corner and left hand side a smidge and move the boat thing (Ha! I really know my boating terms huh  ) to the BL third so it's moving more into the frame...

#3, Woah, this is excellent, magic light and shadow... The stand out here... The dark band across the top is distracting though, as it's a pano you could crop that out and not lose your subject... This is excellent...

#4, Nice silohette, simple and very effective...

#5, Nice scene, like the long shadows across the rocks in the sand, the hot spot from the sun is distracting though... Might be worth exposing a second copy with a lower EV and just laying it over the top and erasing all but the hot spots from the sun and it's reflection in the water?

#6, Not sure on this one with the bright area on the edge of the frame, lovely setting though...
