Went to "the old city" a part of Hyderabad today, and in the few minutes that I had out of the car I snapped this shot.
As always C&C welcome, especially any tips on how to photograph dark skinned faces in the middle of the day!

Mal, I think if you try and adjust your contrast and brightness in this shot to start with, either with levels or curves you will be surprised on the result. I would also crop this image so you don't have quite as much foreground. That's just a start, see what you can come up with!? :)

India is a fantastic place for photography. This is just what I want that 18-200 or similar lens for, but I think I would have framed much tighter than this to deliver impact in this image, along with the previous suggestion.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have a closer crop of this shot, but left the space at the front of this one as it was unusual to actually see space around someone! India is so crowded, so seeing the space seemed so unusual. I suppose I would have needed to show the crowd in the BG to give the shot some more impact.
