to my usual stuff and as such I'd appreciate any comments about how to improve them, my technique, and my feeling of vulnerability when out and about at night

I'm a bit undecided here owen. The shots certainly have that nightshot quality which is good, but I think the subject matter juwst doesn't have enough interest. Technique looks great, subject not so much.

So my possibly not so helpful suggestion would be to shoot something else.

I quite like the light in the first one, but the subject matter doesn't quite grab me.
