Nice work Barry! Might want to bring the exposure back 1/3 of a stop or so on the first one?

Good work getting in on this one!

A little trick for future (if you can remember it while there's a bikini clad woman standing in front of you!!!) when shooting vertical with your flash, flip the camera the other way so that the shadow is thrown behind the person rather than in front - very simple but you'd be surprised how much difference it makes. PS - if this series goes any further (ie she removed the sash!) PM me!

Barry,

Where are the cars? :)

Seriously, you might like to cut back on the sharpening that you've used - the first of these is way overdone, as can be seen by the haloing on her left leg and arm, and her back.

I think I've gone blind from staring to long.

Just staring....?! Not implying anything about your character, just making a joke

Thanks for comments everyone.

I guess I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.

These shots were taken with the D70, 18-70 kit lens and the build in flash. I didn't even have my SB800 with me.

Good tip beetleboy, I will keep that in mind for next time.

Wisie, I didn't have a formal invitation. I was just hanging around watching the shot take place in one of the pit shed when one of the sponsors asked it I would like to come in. What could I say.
