Mr Kevin Bartlett was being interveiwed at the Queensland Raceway. The colour shots did no justice I felt, have kept the microphone in the bottom corner for effect. Fair bit of luck that he turned.




thanx for the positive feed back guy's, would this be heading in the right direction? Damn once I have seen them above each other, I have increased the brightness and contrast.

Looks good, will be better to see more of the microfone or not at all, just a tack bit isnt too convincing....

I'd get rid of the microphone and as much as I like the sort of black and white you've got going there, I'd probably try to make it punchier.

Maybe some light colour in the shirt? Highlights the subject but leaves the mature look with the B/W face.

I'd go with Leigh's comment. A bit more contrast might strengthen this.

By the way, despite the title of this thread I get the impression he's looking to your right, not directly at you.
And are we supposed to know who Mr. Barlett is? In what way was he "caught"?

Thanx DaveB will play with Photo Shop and try too improve the contrast and define the shades/colours.
Sorry Mr Bartlett is a Racing Car Driver. Have edited title I felt I was the caught one.

I think that's better around the face, but now the hat has blown out it really draws our attention away from his face.
This is an image where I think localised changes need to be used as well as global ones.
