while the startrails look funky, the rock is just too dark.

if you can go back and reshoot, may i suggest bringing a powerful torchlight and start painting in the rock with the torchlight to bring it out while you have the shutter open. Try it out with different coloured lights and see how u go. that would look brilliantly funky then :D

Thanks Piro,
I it a bit of a hike off the road and is still bloody cold out at that time of night so i might try it again with the light next week or the week after.
The whole image it quite a bit lighter in the original but when i resized it, it seems to have gotten quite alot darker....
Anyway Thanks and if anyone else would like to offer some help i would really appreciate it.
Thanks again

or if you have a flash (SB800) use the manual flash button to fire it off in a couple of different angels ??
