Fly like an eagle - link fixed

Had a great time at the zoo in the weekend....really enjoyed the bird show, well worth the money.

Critique please guys, cropped and reduced resolution for web:

Terrific timing and composition Anubis. :) Perhaps a little overexposed to my liking beak and talons area. I think go back to raw and underexpose by about a third of a stop or so. You may end up blocking out the the shadows even more under the tail and wing but this is preferable in my opinion to losing detail in those key highlight areas such as beak, feet. :)

looks a little over exposed. beak and talon area especially

having said that, it seems sharp so you have nailed the focus.

composition is good too.

hard to get shots of captive birds that dont like like it.

raptors of course always do cos of the bindings on the legs, but otherwise this could be in the wild.

was this the lunchtime bird show??
often the light is sweeter in the later arvo one.
often repeat the same show so you know where to be for the best shots.

Actually was the later show, was hoping to practice in the earlier one, but we didnt actually get out there till early PM..... just missed it.

Hoping to go again soon, was one spectacular show!
