A few random shots from my wanderings around town today and a few from a while back that I've found and PP'd.
C&C welcome.
I made the mistake of touching this exhibit after taking this shot and got a very stern "NO TOUCHING" from this man

Love every single one of those shots. For me there is no one that is clearly better than the other because all three are fantastic.
Cheers,
Owen.

That last image is really something else. I can't keep from staring at the detail in it which to me is the essence of a good image - it draws the viewer back for more. The quirky posture of the man works well too.
#1 is my next fave and #2 is so so. I seem to recall a shot of this same gentleman some time back carrying some plastic bags so I'm guessing this is the older image you refer to.

Wow Matt, both #2 and #3 are absolutely brilliant.
#2 -I love the action shot of the birds and the detail on the man's face.
#3 - I tired shooting this myself and didn't do a very good job of it, having the man in the photo, (who also told me not to touch :p) makes it a much more interesting shot, the PP is spot on too.
wendellt - the exibition is on at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Jack.

All these shots are excellent ...
but the last one is a stunner, where was it taken?

Thank you everyone.
The last shot was taken at the art gallery of NSW. I went to see the Lewis Morely exhibition, which is great
btw, and then wandered around the gallery taking pictures and such. It's such a great room, you walk in and there are thousands of coloured balls just there. It smacks a little bit too much of the wonderful SOny Bravia advert but it was pretty cool nonetheless.
Peter, the second shot is the same fellow who feeds the birds every day in the park. It was taken not that long ago, not at the same time as the others.
Thank you all

If you squint whilst looking at #3 you can see dolphins in the surf.

That's three very cool photos there. The first is well done - the unspoken message being that everything is passing this man by. The third is very quirky - now I've seen it in 2-D I'm still not sure what it looks like in 3-D! The second is also very good - the man's demeanour is so quirky.
