These don't do too much for me, I'm afraid.
In the first, you're trying too hard to make something with your PP. This is a very attractive lady and she has some beautiful features. Why are you trying to destroy those in this manner?
The second ... way too soft; looks like it was shot with a 70-300G. If you're aiming for a soft focus effect, as in the first, you've overdone it. It's a great pose, but with the high contrast levels and poor apparant focus you're aiming too high.
In the third, I can see that you're trying to do something different, but again I'm left wondering why? Let this lady's unquestionable beauty speak to us on its own behalf, and don't distract us with this gimmicky pp.
In the last one, she has no hands, and the background is quite distracting.
I'd like to see you master a few of the basic concepts before you start messing around as you seem to be doing. The underlying issue is that in order to get a good photo ... you need to get that good photo first. Trying to make it up in PP is not a replacement for acquiring the basic skillset in the first instance, and I think that you need to hurry up and slow down a little here.

Posted: Sun Aug 20, 2006 10:25 amYeah thanks for the comments, i did over do it in these ones, wish i had not posted them now. I have plenty of pictures showcasing my skills, and not my PP skills, so i will concentrate on those now!

Has a bit of a "grungey" yet fun kind of feel to it. Similar to some of the classic Kodak Tri-X images of yesteryear!
