G'day Ree,

Terrific subject for B&W, great framing too! Not sure if it's my old monitor (and it's probably just me anyway) but I like to see some definition of the eye, it seems lost in the nuzzle/beak blacks... Maybe the contrast is just a bit strong for me? I'm struggling with B&W conversions too, so I'm keen to see some of the feedback as I'll learn too :)

Nice treatment though, retained good feather detail and love the drops of water...

Nice sig in the image too, subtle but clear...

Beautiful shot and good conversion. White swans are very hard to photograph. You can easly lose the details in the feathers.

Very nice Ree. Like mudder a fraction of eye detail (if it doesn't have black eyes) would make it.

An object that has such highlights as this birdie is not an easy subject, be it in colour or B&W - you have done well to get such a high contrast subject Ree :)
