Sure is a sweet lens Yi-p!
The WB looks ok on my monitor, which in truth hasn't been calibrated for a while. A tack too warm do u think?

I got to use the 35 f2 on my camera while in Singapore and had immediate lust, fortunately for me they didn't have one available for sale it was the guys own lens, but it was sweet to play with it.

I've heard some stories about the 35mm f/2 D version have some lubricant oil problem on the blades right out from the manufacture, on the earlier production line. So be bit careful on buying 2nd hand if you plan to, or if still new, check the blades for oil first.

Mine is the non-D version, doesnt appear to have any problem or oil sight on the blades btw. *phew*

My 35/f2 was an ebay sale and I've been delighted with it. When travelling overseas that's the only lens I take, when I go to a kids/friends party that's the only lens I use, I also take it with me when I go out at night.

At the moment my 35 is used in over 50% of my photos. Getting a lower-light version would be great but I can't justify the extra cash.
