All good but the last one is magic. I think this would work well as a black and white. What WB did u have on this? Is it the afternoon sun/glow that's giving a slightly reddish feel to the faces or were they a little hot under the collar if u know what I mean? Also a LITTLE selective sharpening of their heads may help a bit too.
Very nice images but the last one as I said, is a corker!

Glen,
That explains why the PM from Craig, asking me to move the message from its original location, made no sense at all.
Thanx.

Thanks Glen, very happy with the results. I was also impressed with the SB800 Flash, it lasted for over 460 shots on one set of 5 batteries; easily 2/3rds would have been with the flash and a Lightsphere.
Cheers

Craig,
The perspective you have taken on the last one is wonderful, creative and clever.
With regards to what Geoff was noticing ... I think it may have something to do with the level of saturation or 'vivid' settings you may be using. Gathered from your other post you are shooting Jepg. Are you applying in camera saturation etc?
The very strong and vivid skin tones and colours give the images a particular style, but not one that will be appreciated by all clients. Just food for thought.
cheers,
Craig

Thanks Craig, it is one of my favourites, find a sandbank, get the couple at the peak and shoot down low; effect is good with lots of blue sky. I found in the past to have one above normal, as in vivid, however, I have gone for custom settings and sharpened +2. I haven’t added saturation, left it on normal. I think it is the lightsphere doing this, something I noticed with indoor shots. Thanks, I’ll play around in photoshop and pull them back a bit.

The skin colour is certainly not from the SB-800, which produces spot on skintones. What WB setting are you using and is there any compensation added to it? The images are great and you have caught the moments beautifully but that skintone has to be sorted out because it distracts from the final product. Have you altered the WB at all during PP? Maybe your monitor is too blue?

Haven’t altered WB at all, and shots are straight from the camera, no photoshop manipulation yet (still learning photoshop). Almost 100% certain it is to do with the Lightsphere.

Craig
What colour space do you have set on your camera? sRGB, RGB or sRGB11?

Craig
It seems that you are doing everything right. What about...when you were using the LS on your flashgun....were there any red walls or curtains or ceiling in the vicinity? Maybe the flash picked up a red tint from something?
