Father and Son

This is an old image I found while prowling around on my hard drive. I like the moment between my husband and son, but am wondering what I should do to improve the image, if it can be fixed.

I figured a tighter crop again on either side to get rid of the brick support and the brown object over my man's shoulder. Any other suggestions on how you would treat this image?

Deb,

Great image. I would try to warm up the wb a little, and perhaps soften the background slightly.

That's about it.

Thanks Gary. Have warmed it up a touch with a filter....unfortunately it was taken before I ventured into RAW. Looks better already. Will play with the background when I have two hands free....sick bub in my arms right now.

Thanks again.........why can I never see that an image is too cool?
