Using the 70-200 VR gave me the opportunity for this crop from a larger image.
I wouldn't want to mess with that beak (larger is better - just click!):

Nice shot! It's a strong image and makes me curious as to what the bird is thinking. I might have been a bit more tempted to lighten the by about 10% and increase its contrast slightly. Just to give the bird a little more agression.

Nice shot. Focusing on the beak and not the eye is slightly unusual I think, but it works
