I spent a few hours in front of my aquarium this weekend.

Was nice to get some half decent snaps.

Cheers

Nice fish shot Steve.

What type of fish is it?

It is a juvenile Julidochromis transcriptus. A freshwater tropical fish from lake Tanganyika in Africa. Also known as an African cichlid.

Aquariums are another of my hobbies - so it is always nice to combine two hobbies into one. Fish photography helps to emphasise the need for a clean tank.

Same here.
We have a cichlid tank + a half setup marine tank.
