#1 is the pick of the images here.
The exposure is spot on with a nice balance of feather detail without appearing too dark. The colours are vibrant and good use of DOF to separate the subject.

First shot is a beauty, asaroha. Good job getting all the feather detail - was the tail also in shot?
I also think that the fence shot is interesting. Cheers, Mick
