Here is a night shot I took using the D70s and the Sigma 18-50 f2.8. Shot has been processed in DxO.
This is the first time I have attempted this, so please tell me where I went wrong and how it could be improved.
EXIF: 28mm, 10 secs, f11, matrix metering, manual.

Nothing at all wrong with this shot for me. Colours are good, nice and sharp and well exposed.

Good to see another DxO convert too. There'll be a full review of DxO in the premier edition of CHIMP.

Very nice indeed. I like the sky also turned out good.
It would have been nice to have more water and the city light reflections on it but either way great photo.

What's DxD and what does it do?

Thanks for the comments, guys. The ISO was 400. DxO is a raw conversion proramme. Actually it is more than that. If you have the lens/body combination that it has modules for, DxO corrects any lens abberations (including CA.) It has really brought the best out of the Sigma in this shot. In the original, the clock on the tower at Flionders Street station was completely burnt out, but the programme has brought some detail in to the clock face.
I usually set it on auto and let it do its own thing. I think that it gets it right 95% of the time.
