At approximately 0900hrs, crews were turned out to the report of bush fire at Baskerville St, Sandgate. Upon arrival crews reported the area well alight, and further appliances were responded. Baskerville Street incident control was established, and 2 helitaks were deployed. Crews on scene were: 514a (Sandgate pump), 521a (Taigum pump), 525y (Petrie 4x4), 502y (Roma Street 4x4), 501t (FCU), 668 & 669 (Helitaks), BA3, and Brisbane City Council fire suppression units.

yep... 5000l of water... so when 5t of weight hits the ground it does a great job.. and makes it quite exciting to be near sometimes
