The sharp, clear images with bright blue against the grey background makes it like it's out of a computer game, or shot in the studio
It's nice
and interesting how there's the bird in the first one! makes it seem higher! scarey
great

Nice work Big V, sharp and clear. Did you get a shot of this guy landing ? All well and good to see him in the air, but if he didn't stick the landing..

Great action shots

Big V, they are great action shots, and so sharp. Any change of sharing with us, amateurs, a few details like which lens did you use or if you use shutter priority instead of aperture priority?

Sigma 80-400, with OS turned off as I was shooting with 400 ISO and rather high shutter speeds. Aperture priority, f6.3 or f5.6 as a general rule..
Thanks

Thank you Big V for the information, believe it or not it helps me a lot to understand of my camera and what I can expect, if I ever get the handle of it... I've been looking around and saw your lens and its price and I am afraid that it will be a long while before I can afford it.

Phantastic shots,
as already mentioned the sharpness, the action, the colours against the grey background.
Very cool,

In the first shot, "is it a bird, is it a plane?"

Definately number 1 for me. However the only thing that possibly detracts from that image is the bird in the background.
they are all so sharp!!

I ended up taking photos of their night session, I had to shoot 3200 ISO and got 1/100 ss, bit worse conditions than yours. nice shots though.

Good shots Big V. I love the first one the most
I only shot them at the night show.
