Man in black

Geoff you are right I can do better
Taken at Sydney's central station yesterday, mainly somewhere out of the rain for a photo-class shoot.
There is a good story around this shoot - the security guards hauled the whole lot of us in to the Station Managers office - obviously a lot of sensitivity around the date and all.
Then, we were asked to sign in, given official badges (OK, stickers!) and allowed to do as we pleased and to sign out afterwards. So this meant I got access to all the platforms and wandered around - the ticket officers just waved me on through.
The security was unfailingly polite and courteous, and I must look like a camera-nerd 'cos I ended up having a long chat to the station manager afterwards about best DSLR to buy!!!
So - thank you Central station, and a lesson in what you can do if you just ask!
oh - and kudos to NNNNSic I tried his trick of slightly desaturating the background to make the subject stand out, worked well even with a dark subject I think.
