Was in Tas last week, here are 4 of my fav images. C&C welcome

The white borders are cause the canvas is larger than the image needed that for printing.
Cheers

My pick here are #2 and #4, but all are great. I think #2 has a slight yellow cast and could be improved by bumping the blue a touch. Peter

Makario,
Like the first 3. Very nice colours and compositions. Looks like you guys had a nice break. Alex
I love numbers 1 and 4.
#1 i find very relaxing and peaceful #4 note sure why, maybe its just how green it all is. the other two are great shots as well. well done.
Hi Mak, I like them all. Tassie is a beautiful place. Where did you find Cascade Falls? I've never heard of it.
I had a quick look around for you at Salamanca on Saturday. I forgot to take your mobile number with me so couldn't call you. Saturday was raining at Salamanca so was pretty ordinary, so I went over the HMAS Adelaide and then the Daffodil Show, just to stay indoors. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Tassie. I would crop the 1st picture so you can just see the shack reflected in the water, takes some of the busyness away from the foreground of the image...
My thoughts. Cheers ![]()
Wow, i didnt expect such a great response.... Thanks everyone, you have just renewed my enthusiasm for Landscapes
Blackspear: I know what you mean abt the cropping... I was going for the interesting foreground look... maybe it doesnt work for this image Johnd: Cascade falls is up in Cradle Mt near Cradle Mt lodge. It was a bit pi$$y on Sat but we did walk up and down the market 3 times killing time as we had a 5.35 flight back. I wasnt too sure if you would come hence didnt call you, maybe next time ![]() Poompy: Thanks ![]() Adam & Alex : My first waterfall pics, glad you guys liked them Stubbsy : Thanks, will try to play with it in Photoshop. I have sent them for printing already, hope the come out good. Pa: The images are from Cradle Mt abt 2hrs away from Launceston. Cheers Mak Canonian

These are all good Mak, don't know how I missed them when you posted.
My favourite is number one - I can see that a crop would have benefits, but on the other hand, I kinda like the foreground as it is. Looking forward to seeing the prints cheers Greg - - - - D200 etc

Greg : The reason that there is a white band on the top is cause I wanted to get it into 16x 20 inches. I will cover it when I mat mount it later... being a bit lazy hehehe
Rainey : yea my thoughts exactly, u must see it to believe it Canonian
