A Gibson EB, but it looks like one of the later varieties.

A friend has a very early version, and brought it along to last Wednesday's jam where I had the opportunity to have a bit of a play. Despite the fact that it had frets, it's still one of my very favourite basses, as is its sister SG guitar models.

Nice images.
