I found this guy heading for a feed of chicken this morning. I interrupted his day for a short photoshoot and a drive into the country.

C&C please

Nice Steve, but a tad more DOF would have made it brilliant :D

Wow. Great shot Steve. That eye is awesome.
You could perhaps pp your finger out of the background. But it's not all that distracting. I only notcied it because you said you were holding the snake so I was looking for it. :) Other than that, I doubt I would have noticed it.

Beautiful snake Steve :) They would have to be one of my favourites - they really are pretty gentle, well ... if you're not a chicken ;)

How far a drive into the country did it go???

What's that noise in your ceiling Simon??

I expect to find 10-15 of the blighters around here in the next 3 months or so. As Rel says they are really quite nice critters BUT they just eat too many chooks and noisy minors and scalies and bandicoots and ......

When we first moved here we had one that was just over 8 metres long. It could have devoured one of the kids quite easily

I've got a couple of noisy kids who live opposite me, can I send them up to you for a holiday?
