A couple of Jacinta and her violin - I was trying for an indication of movement with these, so went for a slower shutter speed. Both with front curtain synch:

18-70(kit) @ 55mm, f7.1 1/15th ISO200

50mm1.8, f8 1/6th ISO100

For my first ever attempt at any sort of 'real' portrait work, and also my first real use of the D200, I'm very very happy

that rear sync flash gives it that added interest
very nice lighting too
