My Take on the Portraiture Workshop - Jacinta.

Here's a few more of Jacinta. I have done no PP at all on these images. While I have no doubt that they certainly could benefit from a little bit of tweaking here and there, I do like these exactly as they are.
These were shot using Sheepie's 12-24 - thank you Leon - to demonstrate the value of considering a different lens choice and point of view for making your image.
In other words, take a few moments to consider what you're shooting rather than just shooting madly in the hope that you'll get a few keepers. Your keeper rate will increase dramatically if you do,
Getting up close and personal
This one could do with a nudge in the exposure department, but I like the different angle of the subject that it presents
I don't like my timing in this one - the face is partially obscured by Jacinta's bowing hand - but I do like the coloring in the ends of the strings which, I think, adds something to this image. Were I to PP this image, I'd probably clone out the flouros in the ceiling and the painting in the background
This is probably what the previous image wanted to be, but it lacks the colour from the ends of the strings.
Please look here for some more images of Jacinta from the shoot, remembering that these are all straight out of the camera, with no PP (except for resizing) applied at all.

The third certainly has a dramatic feel to it thanks to the viewpoint you chose.
