I reckon #2 is a cracker. I love how the over-exposure smooths out the flesh tones, but also adds more impact to the eyes somehow. I'm guessing there's been a bit of PS work there. Would you care to share your technique? Andrew
I think everone is trying to keep up with all the portrait shots, and failing..
#3 I dont' find very appealing at all, one of the few Dee shots that don't work for me on some level. I like how #1 and #2 have stuff different lighting, and it really gives the shots completely different mood. The shallow DOF in the first shot, I find a little unnerving, and in #2 I'd clone out whateve is coming out of her ear on the back wall.
The second shot is great - I like the lighting. The first one doesn't do it for me - I find the overblown part on the right side of her face distracting.

i actually think that the first shot is the best portrait of Dee that I have seen from this weekend shoot. I find it way more interesting than any of the others...
I agree though that the DOF is a little too shallow, and a little less blowout on her right cheek would be all that I would change... good stuff...
One of my other Uni friends (another pretty one... it's pretty much most of my class) actually wants me to shoot her like the first photo, which'll be fun seeing as the first photo was entirely a fluke.
