I reckon #2 is a cracker. I love how the over-exposure smooths out the flesh tones, but also adds more impact to the eyes somehow. I'm guessing there's been a bit of PS work there. Would you care to share your technique?

#3 I dont' find very appealing at all, one of the few Dee shots that don't work for me on some level.
I like how #1 and #2 have stuff different lighting, and it really gives the shots completely different mood.
The shallow DOF in the first shot, I find a little unnerving, and in #2 I'd clone out whateve is coming out of her ear on the back wall.

Posted: Mon Sep 18, 2006 9:45 pmi actually think that the first shot is the best portrait of Dee that I have seen from this weekend shoot. I find it way more interesting than any of the others...
I agree though that the DOF is a little too shallow, and a little less blowout on her right cheek would be all that I would change...

Posted: Tue Sep 19, 2006 12:00 amOne of my other Uni friends (another pretty one... it's pretty much most of my class) actually wants me to shoot her like the first photo, which'll be fun seeing as the first photo was entirely a fluke.
