Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

This is a bit different technique applied, or totally off the way which we intended to use for our studio portraits, not using flash lighting at all.
With the joy of using the cream machine, these were shot using available lights from the side windows. No softening or effect PP applied, adjusted tiny bit in WB and curves to compensate the skin tones.

I like these a great deal - just love the warmth from the natural lighting. These just across as more romantic/softer and seem to portray I nicer look - just a visual thing I guess, but I'm a fan of natural lighting.
I'd guess that this was with the 50mm at 1.4-1.8?

My guess this is the 85 1.4 or 1.8... but more on the 1.4 side of things ?
I like the natural lighting and agree with paul that they feel warmer.. almost dreamy.

Thanks all.
I, too, like very much natural lights.
These were all taken with the 85mm f/1.4 at f/1.4 for the dreamy effect.

Yi-P,
Crop #3 square. There's too much space above the head at the moment.

I'm going to print off a couple of images for each of the ladies, to give to them when I give them their CDs.
What I'll do is send everyone a link to an FTP site where you can upload the images, along with your contact details. We'll drag the files down and bur the CDs for the ladies, with separate folders for each of you (the photographers) so that they can see who did what, and if they wish, make contact with you if need be.

Are there any requirement of file sizes and numbers needed? Im assuming you asking for JPEGs, right?
Shall we cherry pick the pics or just upload them all as we please?

No set requirements in terms of size and numbers, and by all means, cherry pick to your heart's content.
What I would likt though, is to be able to give them something meaningful, which means large-ish and high quality jpgs, with your copyright embedded.
Bearing in mind that neither of these ladies are professional models, there's little likelihood of the images being used beyond their own personal needs, and so I think that there's little harm in giving them something useful for printing for, say, their mum or boyfriend.
