I was stumped for a name for this post

Nice colours and DOF willy, but the vertical 'blotch' to the right of the stamen is kind of distracting. I do like the isolation you've achieved though, what lens and aperture did you use for it?

I very rarely say this, but...sometimes you can get
too close! I think this shot is too close. Perhaps you love the technical challange? But I think the tulip is such a beautiful bloom I want to see it all!

I guess this one was a bit of a technical challenge - especially working at narrow DOF, manual focus, hand held with a breeze

, but I also have plenty of full tulip blooms.
This one is probably my pick from the day

I like both of these for very different reason. It's a shame I didn't get to hook up with you while I was down in Canberra at the weekend, but it looks like you had fun at Floriade anyway. I hope there'll be more of these shots to come

I like them both, the first would look great printed huge on canvas and the pink one.. I just like whateve size there is just something simple that works.

I like the first but see it more as abstract art than pure photographic image. Second one is classically pretty - very nice capture.
