I've hardly had any time for photos lately, but I got some flowers

so, of course, I had to take some shots of them. Not my usual thing so I welcome your thoughts.

Macka/Kris - the first is my favourate as the stamen(?) gets a bit lost in the second pic. Great colours and sharpness in the first!

I like the second one because I think it is a more harmonious composition. However, if you were turn the first picture so the petals face to the right instead of the left… I like the colours and sharpness contrast in both pictures.

Nicely done Macka, lovely and sharp where it needs to be. I like #1 for its simple yet effective composition.

Pics look great the second is definetly the best IMO, maybe try getting a little larger DOF next time??
