Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

A week or so ago it was the National Club Cycling Championships up at the Sunshine Coast. I rode in the teams time trial on the Friday and the Road Race on Saturday but skipped the criterium on the Sunday due to the course being rather dangerous and crash intensive. I was actually going to take photos on one of the big hill during the road race as I haven't really been doing much training and wasn't expecting to get too far into the 169km race. However I was still there at the end of lap 12 or 13 and was looking good for finshing with the 12 or so guys out of 80 who remained in the main bunch until I got a flat tire and the vehicle with my spare wheel in it was miles back following some other bunch.
Anyway I finally looked at a few of the images at lunch yesterday. No.1 was the first guy going through the first corner of the race. (File size is about 350KB)
Crash
This was the eventual winner who broke away from the main bunch with one other rider less than 5 minutes in to the hour long race.
Here are some links of me actually(me on the left) racing, hard.

Great shots Petal666. You are showing here you skills in panning. The three photos have lovely colours, are very sharp, and have crisp images. As far as composition is concerned, I think I prefer the third one, but all of them are very good. Well done!
