Decisions....decisions....

I couldn't decide whether to post an old or new images....so I've opted for new...these were taken the Sunday just gone at the Botanic Gardens (Mount Cootha) in Brisbane. I hope I have posted too many images...it is hard to choose which ones to omit.

I am always open to critiques and opinions, so please don't try to spare my feelings..if something needs improving then tell me...I won't cry..honest...

Welcome to the forum, and some great nature shots here my favourite would be the water dragon, nice lighting, good seperation from the background.

As Yip has indicated there are a few rules about posting images in this section, it helps people review and critique you work a little easier, by keeping the image size down and it limited to 4 photos, what way the feedback you get is more helpful and meaningful.

Welcome again.

Bindii, your water dragon is very nice :D As Yi-P said, we try to limit posts to 4 images under 800 pixs so that people who don't have access to broadband etc can still share the experience

Welcome Bindi!! I too prefer the water dragon shot, the other critique that I could offer is that I find that the background of the pond blends in too much with the birds wings in shot 2, but they are all very good! Look forward to seeing more from you :)

Welcome to the forum Bindii

I also think the water dragon shot is the oick here. It's well lit and composed and nice and sharp. Mind you the others aren't too bad either

Welcome to the forum Bindii. The detail in that water dragon is excellent. That's a cute little chap in the last shot. Huge eyes.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

As I'm particularly interested in wedding photography (but still a novice), I would like to see your website of wedding shots if possible.

Cheers
John

I knew it Bindii...

I love the lizard one. I believe it is the same beast that attacked me Sunday afternoon; maybe it was not in the mood for any more photos or perhaps realized I would ruin its good looks and tried to keep the standards. Now, I love the expression on the child's face, but the colours in all of them are fantastic, they are sharp and crisp images. Well done!

Love the dragon shot (and the others), dragons are good to photograph because they sit still for long periods of time. Now, if they could somehow teach dragonflies the procedure... :)

Welcome to the forum,

Ozi

I agree, the photos are great. Fantastic focus, color and love the human interest in the final picture - now if only you could combine the water dragon with the kid ....would make for interesting pic! he he he!
