One often ignored aspect of our cemeteries is the sculptural artworks that have been placed there. This group from the Botany cemetery shows what wonderful stuff can be found when you look. For a larger version, click a pic.

Hi Peter,
these are great photos.
I like No 3 the most.
He stands in a portal and welcomes the arrivals who are about to enter the city after death ...
Well done with the blurred back ground but still enough detail to see and also to be curious about.

These are all great but my favourite is Tomb Detail, I really like it!

Nice stuff Stubbsy. I couldn't bring myself after a lot of thought to appear at the meet.

Thank you all for your comments. as for the blurred background in #3 - a great example of the wonders of Photoshop's gaussian blur filter
