hi all,

I just returned from a 2 and 1/2 month adventure in the great EU. Wonderful time. Learned 2 valuable lessons as well: 1. aussies travel everywhere 2. if you find one, you are near guaranteed a good time!

I had wanted to enter this picture in the contest but it was taken outside the challenge dates. I hope you enjoy. It was captured in Galway Ireland during a street festival in July.

Image

comments and critiques welcome.

cheers!

Outstanding shot Storm. I think a lot of members would be secretly glad you weren't able to enter it in the Challenge. I still haven't got a shot yet and this one has scared me off no end - if this is the calibre I'll be up against!

Great work.

Excellent shot Tom. How does it look in colour?

Your reflection almost makes it look like you were blowing bubbles.

Cheer, Mick :) :) :)

And here I was expecting to see the head on a pint of Guiness

That's a surreal and brilliant shot, well done.
So join in the chorus, and sing it one and all!

thanks again for your comments and such. it really is a joy to be able to swap ideas.
many of the images I had stored on cds while traveling were corrupt when I returned home. I still havent' figured out why but thankfully this one was still intact. I will be posting a thread in the comming days questioning how cds can become corrupt in travel outside of the normal things like heat and cold and abrasion. I am still confused about that.

cheers!

Storm - that bw treatment really works a treat on this image - an absolute stunner :)

I must admit - I was expecting either Guinness or Coopers :)
