I haven't had much of a chance to post for a while, so here are a few from a recent trip to Hawaii.

These are from the Haleakala Crater (or summit) on the island of Maui.
The summit is in the order of 10000 ft above sea level so you you get to see a lovely sunrise above the clouds. Its quite a popular touristy thing to do. Only problems were that we had to meet at 0315 to join the tour group and the freezing cold at the summit.

If you ever get a chance to do it, I would thoroughly recommend it.

1. The visitors centre with a slightly frozen audience.

2. Some clouds.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

I did have a difficult time trying to convince the Mrs to wake up at such an ungodly hour. In the end we both found it more than worth while. As we were part of a tour group we only had a limited amount of time at the crater. I would love to go back and spend some more time there. You could literally spend days there photographing the area.

I will try and post a few more of our Hawaii shots soon.
