I can't remember if I posted this before - but I love this photo - any C&C from a non-biased viewer?

I'm unbiased- I love it, great exposure, great expressions-face, hands, everything!

It's a shame we only see half of the lady to our right. This image is otherwise very nice: you have good movement, concentration, and clearly a sense of enjoyment on the faces of the subjects.

Justin, love it. I too would prefer to see 2/3 to 3/4 of the lady on the right, absolutely perfect DOF, maybe just a tad more pp to lift the subjects from the background. Great

Yes it is a little disconcerting having her coming into the frame as she does.

I like the blur on the hand, captured by the flash.

It's a little brighter in PS, I need to work on my conversion for web.

I like that image...it has a nice sense of rhythm and the composition is complex but pleasing and easy to look at. Like you I am finding my images come off Pbase looking OK but seem too dark when they appear on the forum. They also seem to warm up a bit. I guess the go is to PP for effect on the forum rather than Pbase. Odd.

This one's zenfolio but I have had inconsistent results from both zenfolio and pbase,

My theory on this (which I just made up now) is that when you display the image at anything other than the resolution you uploaded with, you are asking pbase / zenfolio to resize your image - perhaps their algorithms lose some of the 'luminance' in the photo.

Hmmm I will post a test in a couple of seconds as I know this image is posted at less than original size.
