Hi everyone,
here is an image of tonight's full moon.
I was curious to see how the D200 with TC 17EII and 70-200mm VR would capture.
Here is the result:

I was just out side admiring the moon, thinking I should be fishing. Nice shot

We had a fabulous view of this one in Brisbane too.
Indeed after a disappointing visit to the city hunting pictures, I watched this wonderful moon rise - powerless to stop in traffic on the way home.
I had visions of this lovely golden orb, with Palms in an out of focus forground, but alas somethings must simply be observed, and enjoyed, and pondered as memories.
Bugger.
Superb shot

Nice shot CD!
Can see the details in the moon, amazing
Did you use a tripod? or make use of the VR?
I also tried some handheld shots of the moon on Friday night, but not as amazing as yours

Hi Adam,
I was using the tripod and actualy forgot to turn VR off
I'll give it another go tonight - tripod without VR and or handheld with VR.
