				Well, two actually..
Fairly cliched whale shot but I waited ages to get it!! Wished I'd had more reach - this was the best I could do with the kit lens. I also made sure I kept standing in front of the guy with the 20D and 100-400mm IS...

Print it - frame it - sell it
Nice framing and composition... and a nice fluke too

Why do you make sure that you stand infront of him? To block him?

Only to get more reach I hope

The water is so blue and also a good shot! It must be hard to judge when they are going to do that right?

Thanks Scott - I think some of these will definitely find there way to the Epson. (Or even the nearest Harvey Norman, heaven forbid!)

A great image Simon. Really shows off the quality of the kit lens and the guy using it

Like the framing and especially the curtain of water from the tail.
cheers

Thanks all - your comments are appreciated. The whales are such posers for the camera, though, it's not hard to get good shots!

				Simon, great shot.
For those who missed Simon's clever play on words, a fluke is
either half of the triangular tail of a whale
hence "well two, actually"
