A few racing images from the 'Great Race'.

(This image taken with a 24mm, I was a bit close, hence the fast shutter speed)

(Not sure what I like about this image, maybe the contrasting colours, the minimalist feel for motorsport, who knows).

C&C asked for and welcomed.

Really nice stuff Alan and the last one is quite unique for motorsport. I would imagine the mood must have been quite sombre with the death of Brock and Porter casting a shadow over the event.

Thanks folks. I had a ball taking the photos. A good experience to say the least. After using the D2x, I realise the differences between a D70 body and a pro camera. I'm now in the market for a D2h, not the same megapixels, but similar qulity sensor and focus.

Great shots Raskill. The 1st and then 2nd are my favs here.
Must say the 3rd is also great (I think a square crop would look good on this one). My wife would really love this one (she likes a quick JD)
