Lucky I have the camera in the car. Normally I carry my P&S Nikon 7900 in my pocket. I was fortunate to be crring my new toy - D80.

Lens is 18-35 AF Nikkor 3.5-4.5D. I have included the second image so that you can see that this lens suffers from flaring without the flower hood

The gusher had already been going for half an hour or so before I saw it. However no offending car around and no water authorities on site to turn it off either.
