The HDR(shot into early morn sun)...

Good increase in range, but moving stuff like branches in the light breeze and waves go blurry! Good fun but obviously pick your subject well...

None of them do much for me, first is too flat on contrast, and 2nd is too much in it (dark).

I'd rather do a blending layer over photoshop than using the HDR merge, its more flexible with the layer blending way IMO.

I have to agree with Yi-P. The HDR version has lost all it's contrast.

Can I ask how you spaced your exposures between the seven images you took to make this HDR image ? (eg. 0.3EV apart)

1.0 ev apart, 7 images in total.
