Nice series of shots mate. I like the vintage feel of #1, but am not sure if I would have included the sign in the composition...
Love the PoV in #2...

Nice feel. I would try and make the sign posts old and cracked in the first shot to increase the vintage feel.
Sky is a bit blown out in the second..

Arrgghhh!!!!! There no machine that can beat a steam engine in the 'this-is-how-we-used-to-build-them' stakes
Nice images and a little different to the usual steam engine images i've seen over the years.

I think the 1st one would have looked better if it was landscape and did not include the sign.
Might be worth giving sepia a shot, although the B&W is good.
