# 2 is a really nice shot.
#1 doesn`t do much for me.
Which lens did you use?

I like number 2 also..but I think if you cropped the top off it...remove the trees from the shot...it would have more impact....:)

I like the top one. I really enjoy reflections in still water. As I kept scrolling down though, my first thought was that there is too much bank in the foreground. Maybe it could be cropped just under the bottom rock?

The second shot doesn't look too bad either. How long was the shutter open in the second shot?

I like both these. However, the leaves in the foreground of number 1 draws my eyes to the bottom. Could this be cropped a bit? Apart from that, the tranquility of this shot really appeals to me. Makes me want to go hiking. Just my little old opinion....

I'm assuming this is at Nowra - it looks gorgeous, I'll have to have a better look around next time I'm travelling around down there.

Thanks for checking it out everyone.

Thes shots were taken with the tokina 12-24, and in the first to get more texture in the leaves I held a flash out to the left. It probably could benefit from some cropping though - there is a lot of them.

The second was about a 1.3 second shutter speed, but it was very awkward setting the shot up, and I couldn't see through the viewfiender lol, so it was click and hope. I did get a few different shots from different angles though.

Anyway, thanks for the comments :)

edit: this was at a place called Bomoderry Creek. I only went down there for the first time a few months ago.

Mmmm....Tokina 12-24.....nice.

Can't really add to the comments already made here Owen but I like the shots, though I reckon you scored much higher with No2.
