Sorry all if I've been a bit quiet of late, I've had a lot on my plate both at work and at home. Well I guess a wake isn't your normal place to be taking photos, but I was asked to take some shots after the ceremony, and I'm only just now sorting through them. I wouldn't normally frame a shot like this, but it just happened and I kind of like it. Let me know what you think.

I don't see why not

I don't see why you would not normally frame a picture like the one here. I would be very proud taking similar quality pictures. It is a happy and natural photograph, lovely smile, sharp, nice colours, and a good composition. Before you frame it, check the eyes because I think I detected a small white mark that can be easily corrected.

Yeah Craig - I'd be happy with this. As Zafra said, it's happy and natural. What more would you want? The fact that was taken at a wake adds more poignancy to the warm smile shown here. Nice work.

I agree about the white spot Zafra pointed out, just above her left eye. Many won't notice it but, once you know it's there, it's gotta go! :D

Thanks Zaf, my wife actually has a little white mark there, but your right, a judical use of the clone tool or spot healing wouldn't go astray. Thanks for the feedback. She was actually falling down a step and so fell out of frame, hence my comment about the different composition.

No offence meant to your beautiful bride Craig! The white spot looked like an artifact of some kind. It can stay!

However, I can't condone your pushing her down the stairs just to come up with a different perspective! To get to the last Tim Tam, fair enough, but NOT just for a snazzy composition!

:)
