I would appreciate C&C on these. Exactly the same shot, just rotated and I can't make my mind up as to which I prefer. WHich one works best, if either at all.

Cheers

Anzac Bridge - to rotate or not?I took a walk to Anzac Bridge today to take some shots. Overcast skies turned blacker as I neared so I only stayed for a few shots in case the heaves opened and soaked me.
I would appreciate C&C on these. Exactly the same shot, just rotated and I can't make my mind up as to which I prefer. WHich one works best, if either at all. ![]() ![]() Cheers Matt
No 1 for me Matt. The lines of the bridge seem to suit the portrait orientation much more than the landscape. I find the second shot makes me want to turn my head to look at it - a little more vertigo-inducing than the first, which seems a more natural angle to view the structure.
Nice mono conversion too!! Simon

The Anzac bridge is an impressive and hard to photograph structure. You've managed to successfully capture some of the beauty you can see in person in that first shot. Definitely a keeper. Not sure about #2 Peter

Looks like 100% agreement, something rather unusual around here most of the time - well done!
![]() I can't go against the tide here either Matt - stick with the impressive height of #1 ![]() ![]() *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
